the summer road

Well, it’s not here yet. Where are you summer? Or where are you spring? I’ve decided to take this summer off from school. A bit sad about this, I know it’s the right thing to do. I need to save money. Last semester I couldn't even afford my books. It left me feeling a little bit distracted and unconnected to my studies. But, no worries ya’ll, I’m thinking I did well. I've learned a lot this semester and one important thing (not related to interior design really) was patience! Oh man. I am now the most patient person (Thank you drafting!). Anywho, this summer I have BIG plans.

A few things on my BIG PLANS list include:

Paint (I've recently painted for a class and I fell in love with painting all over again)! If you follow me on Instagram you can see my painting in progress.

Get into a regular workout routine

Travel (San Francisco and New York)

Read 50 books

Work on Lavender and Honey again

Explore Chicago like a tourist

Sew a shirt
